Congratulations to Athenry F.C. who finished the 2017 season as Galway F.A. Premier League champions. Throughout the season, they have given followers some great goals, some nail-biting moments and lots of free entertainment. Though they lost 4-5 in the early rounds of the Connacht Junior Cup, they won both the Michael Byrne Cup (Galway F.A. Cup) and the Brod Trill Cup (league). Well done to all involved.
